A friend of mine handed me a mysterious pack of squiggly stuff at a festival. “Use it to hack something!”, he said.

Inside the pack was a self-adhesive silicon paste called sugru. You can improve your things with it. It’s a clever way to solve some everyday problems. E.g. I hacked my earphones. Usually, I buy some really cheap earphones for like 10 euro. Their life expectancy is about 2 months. I used to “hack” them with gaffa tape, which improved their life to about one year or more. But after awhile, it looks sort of crappy because the tape unravels and accumulates dirt and dust. Sugru looks much better, also, its harder. I’ll stop advertising now (it’s kind of cheap, though). Noone paid me to do this, I’m just kind of exited in a play-doh for grown-ups kinda way…
